Welcome to the Party!

Today's the day!  It's been a year and three months since my last book, so I'm very excited to share this new release with all of you and I'm so glad you came to the party.

I'll post a couple different excerpts through the day, along with some fun trivia on my favorite state of Colorado, where the book is set.  Plus I'll be here all day to chat and answer any questions you might have about TRUST IN THE LAWE and the next two books in what my good friend and critique partner Donna Marie Rogers dubbed: The Colorado Trust Series.

Here's the scoop:

1.  I'll be giving away 1 book today for the party, winner's choice of ebook or print.
     a.  everyone who comments on any of the blog posts today is entered into the drawing.

2.  Join my mailing list from my website to be entered into the drawing for a second book at the end of the month.

But wait--you don't want to wait that long?  No problem!  If you buy a copy of TRUST IN THE LAWE today and then win at the end of the month, you can either have me sign it to a friend as a gift, or pick one of my other books instead.

So, to start out the comments, I have a few questions for you.  Answer one or all.

1.  What's your favorite genre to read?  (romance, mystery, science fiction, fantasy, erotica, non-fiction, ect.)
2.  When and where is your favorite place to read?
3.  What's your favorite beverage of choice while reading?
4.  Do you have an e-reader, and if so, what kind?

Thank you for stopping by!

Stacey

  3. First, congratulations on the release of Trust in the Lawe and whew, this book looks good. Very catchy title that I won't soon forget.

My favorite genre? Hmmm anything romantic suspense of course. I love a little paranormal in there too but something like maybe a cop having some sort of ESP or something like that.
My favorite place to read is ANYWHERE. I love to read but the place I find myself most often is in bed reading.
My favorite beverage is coffee. I read so much my eyes get tired so it helps to wake me up a bit.
And sadly I have no ereader *sniff sniff* I do hope to get one sometime soon though.

Here's to many sales on Trust in the Lawe

  4. Hi, Val! I'm glad you liked the excerpt and thanks for the well-wishes. Sorry you don't have an e-reader. They're really nice for reading in bed (love my NOOK) so I hope you get one soon!

I love the smell of coffee, but not the taste. My husband, friends and co-workers would tell you I drink honey and sugar with a bit of tea.

  6. Congrads Stace! I'm so proud of you!

Let's see to answer the questions..

    1. Romance
    2. With the busy life I have I usually can only read in the car while waiting to pick up one of the kids from some sporting event!
    3. Still coffee or tea is the beverage of choice..
    4. No E-reader..don't think I will join that group unless absolutely necessary..I still love the feel of the book in my hand. :o)

Good luck with the release can't wait to read it!

  7. Hey, Jena! Thanks so much for coming by! Funny how all these years we still go for the romance, hey? :)

I felt the same way about the e-reader at first--only got one so I could read friends' ebooks w/o having to sit at the computer. But then I discovered how easy it was to be snuggled in bed on my side w/o having to hold the book and have my hands and fingers get sore. And when I'm at work on my lunch hour (my only time to read these days) it's so much easier to eat with an e-reader than a real book.

Yes, I admit, I'm well and truly converted, and I never thought I would be. :)

That's not to say holding one of my new books in my hand isn't an absolute thrill!

Have a great day and I'll see you around on FB.

  8. WooHoo, Trust In the Lawe is finally here! Hope you have many sales!

    1. Romance, romance, and more romance! Love contemporary small town (duh, it's what I write...LOL), historical, paranormal, and of course erotica. ;-)

    2. I love to read in the bathtub, or in bed until I can't keep my eyes open any longer.

    3. A cup of coffee (I take mine like Val takes hers *g*) or tea.

    4. I have a Kindle and I LOVE it!

  9. Thanks, Donna! Duh, it's what you write, and Duh, you write it well. Anyone who likes Colorado and western romance, take a look at Donna's novella, Golden Opportunity. It's a great read. (and sexy, too!)
