International Authors' Day Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on the International Authors' Day blog hop!

I wrote for about eight years before I finished my first book and thought about publishing it. It took almost another year before I made it to my first meeting of a professional writer's organization, which was Wisconsin Romance Writers.

I remember leaving that meeting thinking, "I've found home." At 30 years old, I finally knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, because up until then, I was a travel agent, writing was something fun to do, and yeah, it'd be "cool" to be published.

24 books later, I am working hard at my dream job and it's still super cool every time I publish a book. I've gained a family that I never expected to have, and I love the things I learn from all of them every day.

That family is all the author friends and amazing readers I've met over the years on my journey. They come from every corner of the world-which most days is still mind-boggling to me. Definitely International! I love hearing from all of you and talking on Facebook.

The other thing I love doing is collaborating with other authors to bring readers super great deals! Check out this brand new ROMANCE SUPER BUNDLE II: Second Chances.

  3. Hey Stacey, nice to know that writing actually can be a job. (I am still doubting, but maybe I should give it a try...)

    1. If you don't try, the answer is definitely "no." If you try, you at least have a 50/50 chance of it. :) Best of luck to you!
